HELP This is my second unit from Amazon. and I am either getting defective units or doing something wrong. I press the power on, the machine begins to heat up, I press the Temperature button and use the minus to get the unit to give me 150F temp, however the unit continues to heat to 210F and the minus button does not respond, BUT I can make the temperature higher. The Minus button does not beep as well while touching it, but it beeps if I change the time. Can anyone help me?

Nov 2, 2023, I tested this and it works. I used a microwave safe bowl. I did not have a lid so I used cling film tightly over the top, put two tiny holes with a knife. I also put a rag over the bowl to collect the steam. My microwave is 1000 power.

Needed cooked rice to make unstuffed pepper casserole for supper and was too lazy to get my little rice cooker out and found this recipe online. Didn’t know how to comment/rate so I came looking for you here. This recipe is saved and my rice cooker will probably never come out again. Whatever I do in it the rice starts to cook to the bottom. I admit I’ve never rinsed and stained rice before (there’s that lazy streak again 😂) but I did this time and it turned out perfectly!! Just as you promised 😊. Liked and subscribed 👍🏽
